Strategic Research Collaboration

Our deep knowledge of genetics and biology has allowed Gemini Therapeutics to develop strong working relationships with our partners to redefine diseases and uncover new therapies. Gemini continues to seek strategic relationships with research institutions and biopharmaceutical partners that share our goal of creating and developing genetically based precision therapeutics for patients suffering from AMD and linked disorders.

Newcastle University

Newcastle University has a global reputation for academic excellence and has the rank of 17th in the UK for research power and among the UK’s top twelve for research power in science and engineering. The University is also a member of the Russell Group whose 24 members are world-class research-intensive universities which produce over two-thirds of the world-leading research produced in UK universities. Newcastle University has a staff of nearly 6,000 whose efforts play a leading role in the development of England’s northeast.

Sanquin

The Sanquin Blood Supply Foundation, based in Amsterdam, is a not-for-profit organization focused on blood and blood products. Sanguin has 3,000 employees and 350,000 blood donors whose work includes the development of production processes for mammalian cell products, the performance of GMP qualified production processes and validation, and safety testing.

StrideBio

StrideBio, Inc. is a gene therapy company headquartered in Durham, NC. StribeBio creates and develops novel adeno-associated viral (AAV) vector technologies for the treatment of pre-existing neutralizing antibodies in patients. The company’s technical approach offers the potential to enable a wide range of applications including gene addition, gene silencing and gene editing modalities for a wide range of diseases, including rare genetic diseases.
